Sourcing Specialist

Location: Budapest, MOL Campus

Scope of the position:

Here, you'll immerse yourself in managing small-scale procurement processes, assists with medium/large-scale projects, following defined procurement procedures, contributing to category strategy implementation, and using best practices to achieve optimal company results in line with internal processes.

Your tasks will be:

• Performance Management: Prepare procurement status reports, ensure goals and KPIs (including savings targets) are met, and proactively resolve issues while keeping management informed.
•  Planning and Strategy: Contribute to category strategy development, annual procurement planning, and stay updated on market trends, innovations, and technologies.
• Procurement and Contracting: Conduct tender processes, prepare and finalize contracts in line with financial, legal, and category requirements, and ensure proper contract execution.
• Operational Procurement: Support operational tasks related to deliveries, data management (materials, suppliers, categories), and handle complaints.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Oversee supplier registration, pre-qualification, and evaluations, and act as the first escalation point for issues.

We are looking for you if:

• You have a University or College degree in economics, supply chain, engineering or relevant field,
• At least 1 year working experience within procurement, category management, value chain management or logistics,
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks,
• Experience in contract negotiations,
• Strong knowledge of MS Office,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
• Strong teamplayer with great communication skills.
