Your new role
As a Software Quality Engineer, you will work collaboratively with software engineering and QA to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will understand the functionality at hand, think about the implications in various hardware environments, discuss and plan implementation with developers as a preventive measure and continue implementing our automated testing environment. Occasionally carries out tests manually.Overall Responsibility for the Software Quality Engineer:
- Understand the complex technical environment of our software products
- Work with sw developers to understand functionality, help to define meaningful testing procedures
- Coordinate automated tests, instruct semi-automated tests and carry out manual tests
- Improve automated test suites and tools - including the opportunity to work on scripting, development and integration tasks
- Document and communicate test results
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience on developing or operating QA systems: Playwright, Ranorex, etc
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Intermediate level of English
- 4-6 years' experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of Linux
- Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure solutions identified
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD, automation and configuration management tools
- Experience working with server virtualization (VMware, XEN, Azure)
- Strong experience on media streaming
