QA Automation Engineer - Contractor

Your new role

• Design,
  develop, and maintain automated test scripts for data quality testing using
  industry-standard tools and frameworks.

• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to
  understand data requirements and ensure data quality standards are met.

• Develop
  and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases focused on data
  quality validation.

• Execute
  automated and manual tests to verify data quality and identify discrepancies.

• Monitor
  data pipelines and workflows to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout
  the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Perform
  root cause analysis of data quality issues and work with development teams to
  resolve them

• Document and report data quality metrics and test results to stakeholders.

• Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes to enhance
  efficiency and coverage.

• Stay
  up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data quality
  testing and automation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in data
  quality testing and QA automation.
• Proficiency in programming
  languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with test
  automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or
  similar.
• Strong understanding of data
  quality principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with ETL processes
  and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache Nifi).
• Knowledge of SQL and database
  management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with data
  warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
• Excellent analytical,
  problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and
  collaboration abilities.
