
Our multinational client is looking for a Fixed Assets Accounting Supervisor colleague for their team.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with minimum 5 years of accounting experience, team coordinator/SME experience, and excellent English knowledge.
Your tasks will be as a Fixed Assets Supervisor:
- Maintain and update Fixed Asset ledger accounts for US GAAP and local GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations and settle internal orders.
- Run depreciation and make necessary journal entries.
- Prepare annual movement schedules and support property tax filings.
- Manage internal orders for fixed assets under construction.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of fixed asset ledgers.
- Communicate discrepancies and manage physical asset counts and tagging.
- Support monthly corporate reporting and maintain closing schedules.
- Analyze balance sheets and income statements for discrepancies.
- Process accruals and prepare monthly Fixed Asset roll forwards.
- Assist with Quarterly Variance Reports and corporate questionnaires.
- Distribute Quarterly FA Impairment Memo and Fixed Asset Register.
- Assist with special projects and general accounting system requests.
- Support internal control reviews and audit requests.
- Resolve auditing issues and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of fixed assets or general accounting experience
- SME or team coordinator experience
- Fluent in English and other European language is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with team members, business partners, and senior management.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
