Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Participates in the Global DHI team’s work with providing expert opinion on related internal projects or new venture and business development related opportunities.
• Works closely with the Seismic Team, achieving better results through checking seismic qualities.
• Responsible for data integration and geo modelling using 2D/3D seismic, wireline logs, lithostratigraphy to reconstruct depositional environment, and characteristics of source, reservoir and seal rocks.
• Performs detailed geological interpretation to identify new play concept and generate new exploration prospects.
• Contributes to volumetric assessment and prospect risking, coordinates with the OpCo Exploration Teams
• Prepares recommendation of prospects in coordination with the OpCo Exploration Teams.
• Contributes to preparation of drilling proposals and plans for drilling programs. Follows and evaluates drilling results. Contributes to post-well analyses.
• Supports exploration PM in operational decision-making during well operations by integrating drilling and well test data into the related geo-models.
• Contributes in reserve and resource calculation of new discoveries.
• Performs geotechnical evaluations of new business development areas.
• Carries out tasks on special request of the DHI Team Lead and/or Head of Global DHI and Shared Seismic Services team related to the Group Level Exploration processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• You should have a MsC. degree in Geology.
• Professional experience.
• Good knowledge in hydrocarbon geology.
• Experience in seismic interpretation and basin analysis.
• Required skills : compliance with HSE requirements; good communication skills, teamwork, result oriented, development incentive
• The ideal candidate is a person with oral and written communication skills in English (ability to work in multi-& cross-disciplinary teams, goal oriented, capable and willing to work independently.
