Senior Group Tax Expert

Location: Budapest, MOL Campus

Scope of the position:

Here, you'll immerse yourself in comprehensive financial processes, playing a crucial part in shaping the company's financial direction and providing valuable insights that directly impact our strategic decisions.

Your tasks will be:

• Drive tax-efficient strategies for acquisitions, reorganizations, and key business activities.
• Identify and implement impactful tax-saving opportunities across MOL Group.
• Mitigate tax risks by monitoring positions and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
• Leverage legislative changes to uncover strategic tax planning opportunities.
• Shape global tax structuring and support minimum tax implementation initiatives.

We are looking for you if:

• You have a University or College degree in finance/economics/business or equivalent,
• You have 5+ years working experience within tax expert, tax specialist, tax consultant roles,
• You have strong knowledge of current accounting and tax laws/directives and international tax knowledge, (global minimum tax knowledge is a plus),
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
• You have strong stakeholder skills,
• You have analytical thinking,
• You are proactive with a problem solving mindset.
