Group Claim Management Manager
Scope:
Responsible for process set-up, implementations, development, management, and completion of best practices to ensure complete and thorough claim management processes, settlements, legal reviews, and investigations following company policies and industry regulations related to Group Strategic Capital Projects
Main responsibilities:
- Manages his/her organization on Group level with ownership, ensures allocation of key competencies and resources according to corporate business priorities. Responsible for the development and succession.
- Set-up, develop and improve claims’ management processes and implement best practices across MOL Group. Implements and maintains new policies and procedures and ensure best practice procurement processes are continually developed.
- Develop strategies to prevent and minimize claims, ensuring prompt resolution to avoid project delays and overspendings.
- Implement a MOL Group level practice of conducting thorough root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams including supervision on claims prevention and effective management strategies.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of all claims with sufficient supporting evidence.
- Provide procurement expertise to manage suppliers both pre-contract and post-contract including to check out the contractual fulfilment and initiate claim process based on the business decision towards the Contractor using proactive approach.
- Continuous alignment with lawyers, in-house and external, and with project management teams to be able to prepare appropriate content of claims.
- Deliver additional business value (financial and non-financial) through a robust risk and issue management process.
- Maintain clear, effective and regular communication with all project stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with supplier agreements by requesting supplier reports. Review project contracts to understand terms related to claims and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Master degree
- 10 years of experience in Claim management
- Project and claim management, strategic projects and procurement experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Advanced English knowledge
- Management and leadership skills, strong representation of business case
- SAP, MS Office
- Strong implementation skills, creative problem solving skills, analytical skills
