German speaking Financial Accountant

 Our leading IT, consulting, and business solution provider partner company is looking for a German-speaker Financial Accountant, for work in Budapest, who will perform specific accounting and financial transactions in connection with the company’s clients' business activities.

Domain-specific

• Understanding of the end-to-end process cycle
• Processing, receiving, and validating requests, maintenance of master data, validation of requests versus organisational policies in an accurate manner
• Performing peer-to-peer quality checks to limit processing errors
• Activities may also include, reconciliations, processing requests, journals, posting transactions into ERP, validation of input received

Delivery

• Handling daily volume/target of transactions
• Ensuring compliance with the quality of deliverables
• Incorporating in SOP all process updates
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities

Business Partnership

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to answer queries as necessary
• Fostering and maintaining good business relationships with all stakeholders
• Attending weekly calls

Additional Tasks

• Might be required to travel to client location(s) on DD (Due diligence) or KT (Onsite Knowledge transfer) or to be part of client meetings
• Providing assistance within the agreed framework in case of any ad-hoc request raised by the client
• Complying with internal requirements
• Providing internal and external reporting

What you'll need to succeed
 You are the successful candidate if you have knowledge and experience in accounts receivable (AR, AP, RTR). A financial or related educational background is essential. 
You should also have a good understanding of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
Business fluency in both German and English is required.
