We are looking for a Financial Controlling Lead Analyst to join our client's team.. This role is responsible for providing oversight on key financial activities and controls, including general accounting, management and external reporting, as well as financial planning and analysis. The team interprets financial and statutory data, manages both financial and statutory reporting, and oversees the P&L and balance sheet. As a L Financial Controlling Lead Analyst, you will help deliver solutions that enhance financial insight, transparency, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure a smooth and accurate month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and supporting reconciliations.
- Submit financial, statutory, and sustainability reports; oversee statutory adjustments and transfer pricing processes.
- Partner with the RTR team, FP&A, and market teams to ensure the legal entity financial statements accurately reflect the business operations.
- Provide various financial analyses to support decision-making.
- Ensure that financial, statutory, and sustainability-related processes are completed accurately, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with internal and external control standards.
- Understand, interpret, and apply group accounting and reporting requirements, including those for sustainability; communicate these requirements to the financial control team and relevant departments.
- Support the financial analysis and control process by providing detailed analyses for its successful completion.
Required skills:
- Degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field
- Certified accountant with 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in an international and multicultural setting
- Excellent risk management skills, including internal controls, risk assessment, and promoting compliance and ethical practices
- Strong knowledge in financial controlling, including balance sheets, financial reporting, and accounting principles
- Strong analytical abilities to grasp the big picture, deliver key insights, and propose solutions to challenges
- Proficient in English
