Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the organization's data platform strategy, roadmap, and architecture, including assessing emerging technologies and trends.
- Design and implement robust processes for data acquisition, integration, and quality checks during ingestion.
- Determine suitable storage technologies, implement scalable solutions, and optimize management strategies.
- Implement frameworks and pipelines for data transformation and analysis, supporting advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
- Define and enforce security measures, governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with regulations and privacy standards.
- Collaborate with teams, provide expertise, and contribute to building an effective Digital Transformation Department, including managing consultants and fostering innovation.
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data platform management, including proven expertise as a Data Platform Architect.
- Proficiency in database design, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), ensuring compliance in data handling.
- Strong soft skills, including strategic thinking, adaptability to change, driving results, developing others, effective communication, networking, and problem-solving.
- Proven track record in developing data products, creating business value, deploying data products, and resource mobilization.
